🏛️ Skull Horde Dungeons

Master dungeon pacing, enemy families, and when to greed extra floors versus resetting your tempo.

⚠️ Risk vs reward curve

The golden rule

Stay longer, earn more loot—and face stronger waves. Skull Horde rewards information: you can often scout density before you commit. Rule of thumb: greed early, audit mid, respect late elites.

Floors 1–5

Usually stay full duration; teach your build its payoff loop.

Floors 6–12

Clear ~75% then reassess if elites are eating your frontline.

Floor 13+

Density checks: one bad wave can end the run—scout before you greed.

📊 Floor-by-floor enemy guide

Floors 1–5: basic enemies

  • 🧟 Zombies – slow, tanky (ranged DPS checks)
  • 👹 Imps – fast, low HP (AoE priority)
  • 💀 Basic skeletons – mirror matchups; test your merge cadence

Strategy: Rat horde scales cleanly here. Build guide: Rat horde.

Floors 6–12: elite waves

  • 🔥 Fire elementals – high DPS; spread and focus
  • 🛡️ Armored knights – clump for Petard payoffs
  • 🕷 Spiders – slows; prioritize before they chain CC

Loot spike: Oath enablers feel strongest once elites become common. Petards: Units – Petards.

Floors 13+: boss precursors

  • 👑 Mini-bosses – build check: do you have DPS and sustain?
  • 🌪️ Swarms – wide boards and AoE answers win
  • ⚡ Elites – respect one-shot patterns; do not greed without healing or shields
